ABOUT SOPHIE
Sophie Sallade is a printmaker & painter from Richmond, VA that creates relief prints, screen prints, oil paintings, and apparel of her hometown and beyond. She likes to think of her work as a love letter to the city she grew up in, and as an autobiography of her favorite places she’s frequented over the years, especially The James River. Sophie graduated from VCU Arts in 2019 with a BFA in Painting & Printmaking, and a minor in Craft & Materials Studies. At present she sells at markets, events & shops around the Virginia area, as well as via her website. Sophie also teaches linocut printmaking classes at The Visual Arts Center of Richmond.
ABOUT JENNA
Jenna Guthrie is a local Richmonder who grew up in Southside. She moved back to Richmond in 2011 after undergrad where she received a BFA in Drawing & Architectural Drafting from Radford University. Post-Covid, along with many others, she left her 9 to 5 art job and started working for herself. She has been a freelance illustrator ever since. This past January, she officially launched her business, J.Guthrie Works LLC.
