ABOUT JOHN
John, an artist based in Richmond, Virginia, aligns his creative work with mindfulness, capturing the world’s imperfections and beauty with a sense of gratitude. For John, making art is more than just an activity—it’s a spiritual practice where he feels most at home. As an elementary art teacher, he encourages his students to embrace a mindset of trusting the process, looking beyond the obvious to discover new possibilities, and always striving to do their best work. John's approach to art reflects the philosophy of wabi-sabi, which values the beauty in imperfection and transience.
