Virago Ruby Port Cask-Finished Rum Wins London Spirits Competitions' Rum Of The Year

Competing as one of 700+ entries this year, our Ruby Port Cask-Finished Rum was awarded Rum Of The Year at the 2019 London Spirits Competition! We are thrilled to receive this honor following ADI's Double Gold Medal for Four-Port Rum.

We started with Four-Port Rum, a blend of the bold spice and earthy funk of British-style rums with the softer, more seductive profile of Spanish-style rums, and aged it in freshly-emptied casks of ruby port from Portugal’s Douro Valley. The end product exudes an earthy depth, featuring layered notes of campfire, brown sugar, black cherry, pipe tobacco and leather with a finishing hint of candied almond.

Currently Ruby Port Cask-Finished Rum is only available in our Richmond tasting room or by delivery in Virginia. It is also available statewide in Illinois through BigFish. For more information and ordering, please contact us.
